JiMMYBAR! was born out of total frustration with the bar choices on the market today. The healthy bars tasted like saw dust and the bars that tasted good used junk ingredients, yet marketed themselves as healthy.OMG, there must be a better way! Hence, JiMMYBAR was born with the mandate that a 6 year old should be able to read the ingredients. Heck, it was my 8 year old niece Jackie who named the company, although she wanted the name to be the Uncle Dummy Bar. 

2014- A Local Brand

Armed with our 4 flavors and a few bucks that we gently squeezed out of friends and family, we started hitting grocery stores, colleges and hotels in our backyard. We did in-store demos, sponsored events, and even talked our oldest sister Claire into giving us free office space at her casting agency in exchange for free JiMMYBARS!.

2015- Assembling the Underpaid, Overworked JiMMYBAR! Team

We started to grow fast and now it was time to build the team. We found fantastic employees and business partners who loved the idea of working long hours with low pay and no weekends off in exchange for building a company that is doing something positive and honest for the world. 

2016 and Beyond…A National Brand and World Domination
